UPDATE ON WATER SEASON
Como Lake stopped spilling on Tuesday July 6, 2010. The irrigation season looks to be an average season pending weather and unforeseen problems with the canal. Basic rule of thumb is once the Como Lake stops spilling the District normally has 60 days of water. Just a reminder once the Lake stops spilling the District is on BASIC WATER...

WATER UPDATE
Ditch Riders are starting to release water down the laterals. Water users that are on open ditches need to walk the water down to ensure that the water doesn't get blocked, by debris, and flood someone out. It is the responsibility of all water users on that lateral to ensure this happens. Communicate with your neighbor. This is the key for having a successful water season.
The following Three mile gravity system pipe lines are charged and ready to be used;
1. Three mile pipeline system
2. East Ridge pipeline
3. 94
The maintenance crew is working on Ambrose pipeline and 95 system today and Ridge line tomorrow.

WATER START UP APRIL 27, 2010
The district plans on starting water on Tuesday April 27, 2010. The water from Como Lake takes approximately four days to reach the end of the canal. Pending location, on the main canal, this can take four to ten days to receive your water. Make sure your last minute maintenance items are completed prior to water delivery. Water users that are on open ditches need to walk the water down to ensure that the water doesn't get blocked, by debris, and flood someone out. Just a reminder due to lack of precipitation at this time, it is the intent of the Board of Commissioners as well as the Manager to implement “Basic Water” for all users at the beginning of the irrigation season and to continue throughout the season as warranted by precipitation levels.
