START BASIC WATER
Starting Monday July 6, 2009 BRID is starting Basic water. What this means to water users is that Lake Como has 60 days of water left. The ditch riders will be monitoring how much water the users are using. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY IRRIGATED ACRES YOU HAVE PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE OR ASK YOUR DITCH RIDER FOR THIS INFORMATION. This is valuable information that will prevent a lot of confusion and frustration.
REMEMBER Bitter Root Irrigation District is 1/2 inch per irrigated acre. Basic rule of thumb is one sprinkler per irrigated acre. If you have questions please call the office or talk to your Ditch Rider.
