As of March 23, 2010 Lake Como elevation is currently at 4214.4. We will need approximately 26,750 acre feet of water to fill the lake. Snowpack is at 52% of normal. We are concerned with the spring snowpack, and are hoping it will be a wet spring and summer to allow for a successful irrigation season. Due to lack of precipitation at this time, it is the intent of the Board of Commissioners as well as the Manager to implement “Basic Water” for all users at the beginning of the irrigation season and to continue throughout the season as warranted by precipitation levels.
